Nelson Smith
Nelson brings ten years of experience exclusively recruiting for venture-backed technology companies in Northern and Southern California. He co-founded and managed a Bay Area-based firm focused on sales, technical, and management searches that grew from startup to $1M+ revenues in its first year. Throughout his recruiting career, he has helped numerous early-stage companies build both their executive management teams as well as sales & engineering organizations.
Nelson started his career in advertising sales in the early 1990s, selling print and online advertising to California’s legal community for local and national publications and web sites for American Lawyer Media, a Time/Warner Company.
Nelson holds a Bachelors Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and also attended the University of San Francisco’s MBA program. In addition to fatherhood, Nelson enjoys skiing, golf, Giants baseball, and all things New Orleans (music, food, etc.).
